A longer version of the dance was performed by the drill team during halftime at Friday's football game.A classic Halloween-themed dance was performed by more than 100 Pioneer High School students Friday at the campus quad.Members of the school's drill team, all-male dance team, Associated Student Body and anyone else who felt the music pulled together at noon to perform Michael Jackson's "Thriller" dance in unison. It was a precursor to the school's annual Halloween costume contest."There were some groups doing the dance across the country to get into the record books," said Harry Yessian, assistant principal of business and activities. "We didn't want to do that, but thought it would be fun for Halloween."Although the dance lasted just a minute and a half, the enthusiasm was high.
