Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform an entire album from their back catalog each night of the five-night run at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, in October, the group announced late Monday night."Born to Run" and "Born in the USA" will each be performed twice, and "Darkness on the Edge of Town" will be played at the other show.Springsteen tested full-album performances earlier in the tour: in Chicago on September 20 he did "Born to Run" from start to finish as the centerpiece of one of the group's typical marathon sets."Chicago convinced us that this was really worth doing," Springsteen's manager Jon Landau said in a statement. "The audience was so supportive of the concept that it convinced us to go ahead with this at Giants Stadium."Springsteen and company are in the midst of a fall tour that wraps November 22 in Buffalo, New York. In addition to five shows at Giants Stadium, a "Born to Run" gig is set for November 18 in Nashville. The band will also appear at New York's Madison Square Garden as part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th anniversary concert on October 29

He says they are not very bright, they have many challenges reproducing in captivity, and because they live in the most populous country on the planet, China, their environment is shrinking.Pandas are the rarest bears in the world. The giant pandas at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., have become local celebrities and draw about 3 million tourists a year. "The reason they need our help is that people are driving them to extinction. We are taking over their habitat, so we are the ones that have to help save them now," Brandie Smith, senior curator at the National Zoo, said.Packham says he does not want the pandas to die but argues they might not be worth saving.

Hollywood's Universal Pictures and Mattel are developing a live-action movie based on the Barbie doll, film industry sources said.
Variety said producers are working with writers to create a storyline for the picture.
Mattel describes the thin-waist, big-bust miniature mannequin as the No. 1 girls item in the toy industry, the top doll property in the United States and the leading worldwide property in the traditional toy industry, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

Recording artist Chris Brown has begun his 180-day community labor sentence in Richmond, Va., for beating up his ex-girlfriend, singer Rihanna.
Brown, 20, was sentenced in August to six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling after pleading guilty June 22 to felony assault. He was also placed on probation for five years and ordered to stay away from Rihanna, 21, for five years.
Usmagazine.com said Brown was seen wearing a bright orange vest, picking up garbage and cleaning police horse stables Wednesday.

Pro wrestling executive Linda McMahon has never been shy about wading into the ring — and now she's plotting a smackdown of Connecticut Sen. Christopher Dodd.
McMahon, 60, launched her candidacy saying the five-term incumbent Dodd has "lost his way and our trust." Dodd plans to run for a sixth term next year and is seen as one of the most vulnerable Senate Democrats.
World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. said Wednesday McMahon has resigned as the company's chief executive to seek the Republican nomination for Dodd's Connecticut seat, providing a show-business twist to one of the nation's marquee Senate races.
The WWE has been under fire in recent years following the unexpected deaths of several former and active wrestlers, some which have been related to substance abuse. Congress asked the WWE for answers after the 2007 murder-suicide deaths of one of the WWE's top stars, Chris Benoit, and his family.
The company in 2006 began a substance-abuse policy that requires tests for steroids and other drugs.
The face-lifted 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo will debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show in September, the German automaker confirmed on Friday. Porsche, uncharacteristically, is putting the emphasis on the 911 Turbo's fuel economy, saying in a statement that it "continues to create more from less."
The EPA says the 2009 Porsche 911 Turbo with a five-speed automatic transmission returns 15 miles per gallon in city driving and 23 mpg on the highway. In Europe, the 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo averages 21 mpg under the EU5 standard.

Homeowners Ginger and Rick Blazek of Coppell submitted their kitchen when they heard HGTV was looking for Dallas-area kitchen remodels.
A kitchen designed by a Carrollton design firm received top honors earlier this month on the HGTV show “Bang For Your Buck,” which pitted three area kitchen remodels against each other.
The Blazek’s kitchen, located in Coppell’s Waterside Estates neighborhood, is a Tuscan-inspired design, with elements selected to create the rich, organic feel of the Tuscan countryside – from the large teak island and farmhouse sink to an earth tone palette and cork floors.
