VANCOUVER, British Columbia — The question was put to Roman Zaretsky about the burden he and his sister carry daily, in their quest to establish a Winter Olympics legacy for a country with a subtropical — Okay, desert — climate.And by the time the question was finished, he had already lapsed into a Woody Allen routine:
“Ha! We already know the Jewish part about having a lot of weight on your shoulders,” he said with a laugh, waving his arms left and right. “You grow up with this — having a Jewish mother, a Jewish grandmother ...”
His sister, Sasha, laughed along with him.
